A fair amount of the content on the Line Out website is available as RSS feeds. These feeds are in RSS 2.0 format. What is RSS?

What Is RSS?

RSS is a data format that allows the content of a website to be read in an external application or syndicated onto other websites.

You can download an application called a news reader then use it to "subscribe" to RSS feeds from many different websites, you can then read the latest news from all the websites without actually visiting them.

Podcasts

Some applications and new mp3 hardware allow you to automatically download new mp3s to your system when they are posted in a podcast. For more information on Podcasts visit Podcast Alley
